Reliance Jio Prime membership: All you need to know



Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of Prime membership for Jio customers and revealed tariff plans in his address two weeks back. Today, the company has started charging for the new membership which will be available till March 31
Ambani said Reliance Jio crossed 100-million subscribers, in less than six months of its launch.  "Jio added 7 customers every second of every single day for the last 170 days," he said in his speech.
Jio had crossed 50 million subscribers in just 83 days, adding at an average rate of 6 lakh subscribers per day and surpassing the subscriber addition rates of global giants like Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype. 
"This milestone belongs to every member of the Jio community. We have created sustainable employment and this is an achievement for the entire country. We are humbled by the enormous trust placed on us by our customers," Ambani added.
  • All Jio members can enroll prime membership for a one time fee of Rs 99
  • Jio Prime Members can get this tremendous value at an introductory price of only Rs 303/month, effectively just Rs 10/day
  • Enrollment for Prime membership will start from March 1 to March 31.
  • Jio prime members can continue to enjoy unlimited benefits of New Year offer for another 12 months until March 31, 2018.
  • Customers who don't join Prime membership will continue to have all voice calls free and without any roaming charges.

Karbonn has launched a new Titanium-series smartphone, the Titanium Jumbo, in India. The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its massive 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver a standby time of up to 400 hours, and talk time of up to 16 hours. Acer introduced its Liquid M330 smartphone back in September last year during the IFA 2015 conference. The Windows 10 Mobile-based smartphone was launched with seven different handsets at the conference.
