Intex on Wednesday unveiled its new budget Aqua G2 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 1,990, the Intex Aqua G2 is targeted at first time smartphone buyers. The Aqua G2 features 2G connectivity and comes with a 2.8-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 240x320 pixels. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports dual-SIMs. The device packs an 1100mAh battery that can offer a talk time of up to 5 hours and a standby time of up to 6 days. It sport a 0.3-megapixel front and rear cameras. The rear camera comes accompanied with an LED flash. The Aqua G2 is powered by a single-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM and packs 512MB of inbuilt storage. It supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 16GB). Oppo F1 Plus Goes on Sale in India: Price, Specifications, and More

Oppo on Wednesday announced that its F1 Plus smartphone is now available to purchase in India. As announced at the India launch last month, the Oppo F1 Plus will be available various stores across regions including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai among others. The F1 Plus smartphone is in fact the Oppo R9 that was launched in China in March, but has been re-branded for international markets. The highlight of the Oppo F1 Plus is its 16-megapixel front camera, which features a 78.1-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture. On the rear, the Oppo F1 Plus sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and an f/2.2 aperture. It features PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and 4K video recording. ZTE in China on Tuesday unveiled its latest Nubia-series smartphone, the Nubia Z11 mini. Priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 15,000), the handset is now available to pre-order via the company's online store and will go on sale starting April 25. The Chinese telecommunications giant touts the Nubia Z11 mini's "mobile phone professional photography system", which it calls NeoVision 5.8. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, autofocus, and LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front camera also on board. The ZTE Nubia Z11 mini sports a fingerprint scanner at the back can be used for more functions other than just unlocking the device. Datawind has launched a new voice-calling tablet, the Ubislate i3G7, in India. The Datawind Ubislate i3G7 is now available to buy at a discounted price of Rs. 4,444, with an MRP of Rs. 5,999. The biggest highlight of the new Datawind Ubislate i3G7 is it comes with free Internet browsing for 12 months via Reliance networks. Consumers purchasing the new Ubislate i3G7 tablet will have to tap on the UbiSurfer Internet browser app on the device and fill up the registration form to get free Internet browsing for 12 months. Huawei has introduced its new MediaPad-series tablet, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, which is now listed on the company's website. There is no word on the pricing or availability of the tablet. Priced at Rs. 10,999, the Penta T-Pad WS1001Q is now available exclusively via e-commerce website ShopClues. The company as a promotional optional offer is bundling a 3G dongle which will come with free 3G data from Aircel for a period of six months. It appears that iBall is planning to soon launch a new tablet called the Slide Co-Mate. The tablet has been listed on the website with images and specifications. The company has not detailed price or availability, but we can expect an announcement in the near future. According to the website listing, the dual-SIM supporting iBall Slide Co-Mate tablet features an 8-inch HD (1280x800 pixels) resolution IPS display with a pixel density of 188.68ppi. Micromax at its 'Guts to Change' Gurgaon event on Wednesday unveiled several new devices, including smartphones, new televisions, and new tablets.
