Micromax on Tuesday unveiled the Canvas 6 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 13,999, the new Micromax Canvas 6 will be available exclusively via Flipkart apart from the company's online store. To recall, the domestic handset maker initially showcased the smartphone last month alongside the Canvas 6 Pro. The Micromax Canvas 6 was until now available for pre-order via the company's online store alongside the Canvas 6 since last month. The company says the smartphone will be available to buy from Tuesday. One of the biggest advantages of the Micromax Canvas 6 over the Canvas 6 Pro, is that the former sports a fingerprint scanner at the back. Lava has introduced its new A67 budget Android smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 4,549, the Lava A67 is now listed on the company's website. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Lava A67 but we can expect the smartphone to be available in the market soon. The biggest highlight of the new A67 smartphone is it sports a front-facing LED flash alongside the 2-megapixel camera. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Lava A67 is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that features a 5-inch IPS display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of roughly 196ppi. Chinese company QiKU has added yet another smartphone to its portfolio. The QiKU N4 was announced in China for CNY 899 (Rs. 9,200 approximately), and the company will begin selling the smartphone from May 13 through the flash sale model. The QiKU N4 seems to be a slightly upgraded version of the QiKU F4 smartphone that was launched in March. The smartphone runs on Qihoo 360 OS on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and comes with hybrid dual-SIM support. It has a bigger 5.5 inch 1080p curved display, and is powered by a 64-bit 2.3GHz Helio X20 deca-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The QiKU F4 had a 5-inch HD display, and was powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC. It offered options of 2GB and 3GB of RAM. Huawei Terminal's Honor brand has launched the V8 smartphone in China. The smartphone is up registrations on Tuesday via Vmall, JD.com and other online retailers in the country, with the first flash sale on May 17.
